PROJECT: Just blue… with a fork flourish
BUILDER: Quirk Cycles
FINISH:  We say it over and over again… loud finishes aren’t always the best finishes and some people just want something clean and minimal. That’s exactly what Charlie has walked away with.

Nothing more than a plain, flat RAL blue throughout which allows the silhouette of the build to take centre stage. Orange graphics where they need to be… then of course the something special inside the fork. Adding flourishes on the inside of a fork blade isn’t new or unique but done well, it can add something really interesting. Inside Charlie’s fork are four, asymmetrically aligned colliding colour blocks… a flat “sky” blue, the highlight orange we’ve seen on the branding, a deep metallic burgundy red and a sparkling British Racing Green colour so rich, it appears black in certain lights. This cascading colour clash reveals different pairings depending on viewing angle and in the most part isn’t seen until the bike is active and in motion, making it a truly dynamic feature.

As always, because it’s a Quirk so there’s a brushed stainless badge on the headtube, the copper serial number on the bottom bracket shell and all the usual sharp line masking throughout.
